Summer 1
This half term, our learning has centered around our exciting topic, “Beside the Seaside.”
The children began by discussing all the fun activities they enjoy outdoors before focusing more specifically on experiences linked to the seaside.
Thanks to the recent beautiful weather, many of the children were able to draw on their own real life experiences, sharing what they have seen and enjoyed during holidays both in the UK and abroad. These discussions have been a fantastic way to develop speaking and listening skills, whilst helping the children to make meaningful connections between their experiences and our classroom learning.
