Starting in Nursery (2024/2025)

The school year starts on Tuesday 3rd September 2024. To allow the current Nursery children time to settle back in after the Summer break, we ask that all new starters start in the second week – week beginning Monday 9th September 2023.

Monday 9th, Tuesday 10th September

Parents to come for 1 hour ‘Stay and Play Session’ on each day (this will be staggered so that we have small groups of children attending at a time)

Wednesday 11th September

Children to attend for 1 hour independently (this will be staggered so that we have small groups of children attending at a time)

Thursday 12th September

Children to attend for 2 hours independently (this will be staggered so that we have small groups of children attending at a time)

Friday 13th September onwards

Children attend the normal session times (8:40am-11:40am)

If your child will be doing 30 hours then the next week we will continue to build up hours with the aim of being full time by Friday 20th.

Starting in Reception (2024/2025)

The school year starts on Tuesday 3rd September 2024. To support children settle in the new year group and build relationships with peers and adults, children will attend only the morning or afternoon session for Tuesday 3rd, Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th September. This will be randomly allocated before the end of the academic year 23/24 to allow parents/carers enough time to make arrangements for the dates when children are attending half-days. All children will attend full-time from Friday 6th onwards.
