Just a reminder that school will be closed to pupils on Friday 24th June for the Queen's Jubilee Day.

You will hopefully have received information today about our CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) fundraiser taking place on Tuesday 21st June. 

We are asking children to come to school dressed as their favourite athlete / sportsperson and bring a gold coin as a donation. Throughout the morning, all children will learn a dance which will then be performed as a whole school during the afternoon as part of a 12- minute danceathon. You will also be given the opportunity to see a live performance of the dance at our sports day events the following day.

Sports Day will be taking place on Wednesday 22nd June on Meden field at the following times:

Years 3 to 6 - 9.15am start

Reception to Year 2 - 12.50pm start

Parents are invited to attend. When you arrive you will be shown to the spectators' area. Please arrive on time and feel free to bring your own deckchair!

Please ensure that any photos you share on social media are of your child only. We do not have permission from all parents for images to be shared. 

Nursery children will have their sports morning on Thursday 23rd June. Unfortunately, we will not be able to invite parents to this event due to lack of space.

Transition days will take place on Monday 4th & Tuesday 5th July. The majority of year 6 children will be going to Meden. Those who will be attending different secondary schools will have separate arrangements. 

All other year groups will move up to the classes they will be attending next year to spend time with their new teachers.

In the next week, we will be sharing details of which class your child will be in next year.
